MEET THE SWEETIES ๐Ÿ’–

Two Girls, One Big Sugar Rush!

Hi Bestie!

Welcome to sgdessertlover.com, where calories do not count and dessert always comes first.

We are a small group of dessert lovers who plan our days around sugar. Cafés, hawker centres, random neighbourhood finds. If it is sweet, we are probably already thinking about it.

We do not do paid hype. We do not fake excitement.

Just honest opinions, real cravings, and way too many desserts eaten “for research.”

OUR MANIFESTO ๐Ÿฐ

We believe dessert is not just food.

It is a personality trait.

Whether it is a $15 artisanal tart with perfect plating or a $2 bowl of cheng tng from a hawker stall down the road, if it sparks joy, we are sharing it with you.

No gatekeeping.

No pretending everything is amazing.

Just real reactions, sugar highs, and bestie-level honesty.

OUR MISSION & VISION ๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŒธ

We want sgdessertlover.com to be your sweetest bestie in Singapore, guiding you to desserts that make your heart skip a beat. From secret cafés and hawker gems to nostalgic local classics, we share honest reviews, fun adventures, and a sprinkle of personality in every post.

Think of us as a happy sugar bubble you can pop into anytime for inspiration, laughter, and of course, a little (or a lot) of dessert love.

THE SWEETIES BEHIND THE SCREENS ๐Ÿ“

The Cafe Queen

Age: 22

Gen Z represent.

Chloe lives for the aesthetic. If a café has good lighting, cute plating, and matcha lattes, she is already on the way. She takes photos first, eats second, and somehow still finishes everything.

She is also the reason our photos look cute and our camera roll is full.

Favourite spot: Somewhere in Tanjong Pagar

Sugar level: 100% no regrets

Fun fact: She has a collection of cute dessert stickers on her laptop and will fight you for the last bite if it’s photogenic.

The Traditionalist

Age: 29

Millennial soul. Auntie energy.

Bernice grew up on pandan waffles, tau huay, and cheng tng. She believes the best desserts are often found in hawker centres and neighbourhood stalls. She always knows which uncle or auntie to ask for extra liao.

Less sugar, more balance, but dessert is non-negotiable.

Favourite spot: A hidden hawker stall in Bedok

Sugar level: 25% slightly healthy-ish

Fun fact: She collects old-school dessert memories and loves telling stories about how Singapore’s sweets shaped her childhood.

WHY YOU CAN TRUST US ๐Ÿค

  • We do not accept paid hype
  • We only share places we would revisit
  • We actually go down, queue, eat, and debate over ratings

If it is overrated, we will say it.

If it surprises us, we will scream about it (nicely).

ONE LAST THING ๐Ÿ’•

If you ever spot us taking photos of desserts from every possible angle, please understand.

It is not extra.

It is research.
