I Made Biscoff Tiramisu Cups Once And Now Everyone Expects Them At Gatherings

This recipe accidentally became my personality for a while.

Originally, I just wanted a dessert that looked impressive without requiring actual baking skills. Then I realized tiramisu cups are basically impossible to mess up if you understand layering.

Creamy mascarpone filling. Coffee-soaked biscuits. Crushed Biscoff cookies. Slight caramel flavor. Cold straight from the fridge.

It tastes like something from a fancy café while secretly being one of the easiest desserts to assemble.

Honestly? The hardest part is not eating the filling directly from the bowl.

Why Biscoff Works So Well In Tiramisu

Traditional tiramisu already relies on coffee and cream.

Biscoff adds caramelized spice notes that somehow make everything taste warmer and richer without becoming overly sweet.

The cookies also soften beautifully once layered with cream and coffee.

You want them soft enough to melt slightly when eaten but not completely soggy.

That balance is what makes tiramisu addictive.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Assorted baking ingredients and tools arranged on a countertop, including flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and bowls
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 200ml whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • Biscoff biscuits
  • Crushed Biscoff crumbs
  • Cocoa powder

Optional:

  • Espresso powder
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Sea salt flakes

The Filling Should Stay Light

One common mistake with tiramisu cups is making the filling too dense.

You want airy cream, not cheesecake texture.

Whipping the cream separately before folding it into mascarpone helps create that lighter consistency. The dessert should feel creamy but still soft enough to spoon easily.

For cream texture guides, King Arthur Baking explains whipped cream stabilization surprisingly well.

Layering Is What Makes It Look Expensive

The easiest way to make homemade desserts feel café-worthy is clear layering.

Coffee-soaked biscuits. Cream. Cookie crumbs. Repeat.

Suddenly it looks intentional and aesthetic even if your kitchen currently looks catastrophic.

The Biscoff crumbs on top also help hide imperfections, which honestly feels very generous of them.

Chill Time Matters More Than You Think

Fresh tiramisu tastes good.

Overnight tiramisu tastes significantly better.

The biscuits soften properly. The coffee flavor spreads evenly. The cream settles into the layers instead of feeling separate.

If possible, leave it overnight.

Tiramisu Cups Feel Fancy Without The Stress

That’s the beauty of individual desserts.

People automatically assume they required more effort than they actually did.

Meanwhile you mostly assembled layers while listening to music and pretending you were on a cooking show.

And honestly? That’s enough.
