The cold capellini was tossed in a truffle-butter sauce and topped with sashimi scallops and bright, salty pops of ikura. The scallops were buttery and melted on my tongue, but honestly, the pasta itself was cooked just a fraction too soft for my liking. It’s a very pretty dish, but for $42, I wanted the flavors to punch a little harder.

Next, we tried the Crispy Chicken & Scrambled Eggs ($22). This was pure comfort. By the time we took our first bite, the beautiful scoop of ice cream had completely melted into a sweet, milky puddle. It still tasted good, but it was a bit of a letdown.
